SUP WITH THE NUTS? 12/25/09 So we close out this year incredibly thankful for everything that’s come our way. It’s been such a kick ass year and we want to thank everyone who had a part in making it happen. Our agent Doug Hall who has stuck with us no matter what, as well as everyone at TalentPlus. Our boy from the Improv Comedy Clubs Gideon Horowitz who was one of the first to believe in us and what we do and still does. Justin Dec and the Peripheral Films crew for bringing The Nuthouse web series to life and making it look kick ass! First show was at our alma mater... FIU. It was great to go back to where it all started for us. Thank you to SPC for having us perform at what we consider to be our home. The second show was at the “Sleepless Night” event in Miami Beach, 1 word... AWESOME! It was an amazing night with a sold out Colony Theatre and kick ass audience to go with it. We apologize to the almost 300 people who couldn’t make it inside, but stay tuned for upcoming shows in the Miami area. Thank you to the entire Sleepless Night & Colony Theatre staff for having us. And thank you to everyone who came to both our shows! This Thurs, Nov 12 is the premiere of The Nut Lounge. Check out the sweet new Nuts’ gear you can put on your body HERE! 10/12/09 A Pair of Nuts just added two big events in the Miami, FL area to their schedule: First we’ll be taking part in “El Club de la Risa” at the Miami Dade County Auditorium on Sun, Oct 25 @ 4 PM. It’s the best Hispanic comedians from Radio & TV performing on one stage. This show is all in Spanish and you can purchase tickets at TicketMaster.com. Second, we’ll be taking part in the “Sleepless Night” event in Miami Beach, FL on Sat, Nov 7 with a performance at the Colony Theatre on Lincoln Road at 1 AM. It’s an awesome free event that starts at 10 PM and ends at 6 AM with over 130 performances, exhibits, parties, and much more through out the night. Hope you like the new design! We performed at our first military base, Ft. Bliss in El Paso, TX. It was very overwhelming performing for these guys and their families. We had such a great time and they were amazing! We hope you had as much fun as we did. Thank you to the entire Ft. Bliss crew for making our first base experience a great one! Our trip to LA was awesome! Had a great time at the Brea Improv, the crowd was great! Got some nice press from “The Daily Titan,” Cal State Fullerton’s Newspaper. We were also interviewed for “Last Call with Carson Daly.” It’s set to air at some point this week. As soon as we find out the exact date we’ll let you know. Thanks to the entire Last Call crew, you guys were great! Our show at the Comedy Central Stage rocked! Everyone who came come out from Comedy Central really enjoyed it, as did everyone who was there based on the standing ovation we got... awesome!
